Magnobond 3503, Parts A & B
(Formerly called 88-251)

1. Thermal shock properties on 3503 are outstanding, especially for a rigid epoxy. Large capacitors encapsulated with 3503 have passed thermal cycling tests to -60°C. Compressive strength and rigidity are high enough to support structural loading.

2. Electrical properties with 3503 are excellent over an extremely wide temperature range.

3. Working life after mixing A & B is very long. Even when preheated to 60°C, material can be used for several hours.

      Pot Life:                 > 6 hours at 25°C

      Preheat:                  Parts A and B can be preheated to 85°C
                                prior to mixing in order to reduce
                                viscosity.

      Cure Schedule:            Gel at 125°C for 2 to 3 hours followed
                                by 3 to 5 hours at 150°C for full cure.

      Shelf Life:               Part A:  6 months  Part B:  6 months
                            (Note: Stir each component before using.)
