GENERAL PROCEDURE FOR USE

Mixed casting materials exhibit limited working time. Therefore, collect all tools and working materials before mixing the epoxy.

Use epoxies and materials at 65-80°F. Cooler temperatures will retard the rate of cure; warmer temperatures may result in shrinkage of the tool.

Weigh resin and hardener carefully. Too little or too much curing agent can affect rate of cure and final properties.

HELPFUL HINT: Insert waxed welding wires at regular intervals into the face of the mold master before applying surface coat and tooling epoxy. After cure, remove wires to create airways for vacuum-forming applications.
