Magnolia Plastics products have been octa-BDE and penta-BDE free since
2001 in accordance with the dictates of the European Union.
Magnolia has developed over 2,000 products since our inception in 1957.
More than 700 of these are currently in active use in diverse industries
around the globe. Of these are our widely accepted line of epoxy based
products suitable for many different applications in the construction
industry.
Many of our Construction Adhesives are qualified to various manufacturer's
and government specifications:
Our "Top Six" are listed below:
1. Magnolia 36, A & B - Used to repair damaged
bridge spans over water. Magnolia 36 is an unimmulsifiable, two component,
100% solids, low viscosity, epoxy adhesive and coating compound that
will cure in fresh or salt water.
2. Magnobond 40, Parts A and B - A two part
epoxy characterized by a short pot life and quick cure time. Magnobond
40 is a non-asbestos version of Magnobond 38-R3, Parts A and B. Qualified
to State of Georgia D.O.T., Section 886, Type I-R.
3. Magnobond 6504, Parts A and B - a two
part epoxy systems specifically formulated for use in the construction
of airport runway lights and are used in airports ranging from small
General Aviation airports to major international airports worldwide.
Qualified to Federal Specification P-606.
4. Magnobond 6507, Parts A and B - a two
part epoxy systems specifically formulated for use in the construction
of airport runway lights and are used in airports ranging from small
General Aviation airports to major international airports worldwide.
Qualified to Federal Specification P-606.
5. Magnoloop I, Parts A&B - Used since
the late 1960's by local and state governments to seal traffic control
loops in highway pavements to protect the loop wire from water, salt,
gasoline, oil, cuts, abrasion and changes in temperature.
6. Magnoloop II, Parts A&B - Used since
the late 1960's by local and state governments to seal traffic control
loops in highway pavements to protect the loop wire from water, salt,
gasoline, oil, cuts, abrasion and changes in temperature. Qualified
to:
- State of Florida D.O.T., Sec. 316.0745
- State of Maryland D.O.T., S-11 (A/B)
- State of Tennessee D.O.T., PE-9298
- State of Virginia D.O.T., Spec 703.03
The products listed above are only a few of the many construction epoxies
