Plastics for the Space Age Since 1957
While Boeing has used Magnolia Plastics' epoxy for a number of projects over the years, the most recent was the completely computer designed Boeing 777. Superior to gum, rubber bands and string in aeronautical applications, Magnolia's Magnobond 92-1 syntactic was chosen by Boeing to reinforce the floor and wall panels for all the right reasons:
- Magnobond 92-1 A&B, a two-component epoxy syntactic system, is qualified to BMS 5-28,
Revision, Type 18, Class I.
- Magnobond 92-1 A&B has excellent flow characteristics for a low density syntactic.
- Magnobond 92-1 A&B works well in preweighted and packaged Semkits(r).
- Magnobond 92-1 A&B offers excellent high strength and flame retardance properties.
- Magnobond 92-1 A&B works well in a variety of honeycomb structures.
- Magnolia Plastics has over 37 years in developing and supplying syntactics for a variety of
