Magnolia Plastics products have been octa-BDE and penta-BDE free since 2001 in accordance with the dictates of the European Union.

Magnolia has developed over 2,000 products since our inception in 1957. More than 700 of these are currently in active use in diverse industries around the globe. Of these are our widely accepted line of epoxy based products suitable designed for and qualified for use as Electrical Encapsulating and Electrical Potting Compounds.

    1. Compound 3102, Parts A & B - Compound 3102, Parts A & B is a two part epoxy compound with excellent electrical properties, flame retardance, moisture resistance and a good combination of long pot life and fast cure which is used for sealing capacitors in automated production facilities. Qualified to UL 94, V-0, File No. E 83708 (R).

    2. Compound 3106, Parts A & B - Compound 3106, Parts A & B is a modified version of Compound 3102 which has less flame retardance than Compound 3102. Qualified to UL 94, V-0, File No. E 83708 (R).

    3. Compound 3265, Parts A & B - Compound 3265 is a low shrinkage, 1:1 by volume mix ratio, epoxy resin casting and potting compound designed to protect electrical devices from extremes in humidity and temperatures.

    4. Compound 3347 (Single Component) - Magnolia 3347 is a single component, low viscosity, epoxy material with excellent electrical properties at elevated temperatures.

    5. Compound 3360, Parts A and B - Magnolia 3360, Parts A & B, is a fluid, low surface tension, unfilled epoxy system for encapsulating electronic circuitry in a sand-filled aluminum container.

    6. Compound 3503, Parts A and B - Magnolia 3503 is a two part cycloaliphatic epoxy resin casting compound designed for encapsulating high performance electrical products.

    7. Compound 106-167, Parts A and B - Magnolia 106-167, Parts A & B, is a fast curing potting compound designed to protect electronic components.

    8. Compound 108-059, Parts A and B - Magnolia 108-059, Parts A and B is a low viscosity potting compound designed for protecting electrical devices over a broad temperature range.

    9. Compound 111-047, Parts A and B - Magnolia's Compound 111-047 is a low weight loss, non-age hardening, epoxy resin based potting compound which forms a highly flexible seal that protects electronic components even after repeated shocking from +250°F to -40°F.
